My clinic hours are on Saturdays and other days, depending on availability and by appointment.

I am a warranted social worker and a warranted family therapist. I am currently the Malta Association of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice board secretary. My journey into the social and health sector began in 2009 and has allowed me to work with various client groups, particularly in the areas of mental health, disability and domestic violence. I am particularly drawn to working in the non-governmental organisation (NGO) sector as it is passionately driven and aligns with my core values of humility, compassion and being a catalyst for positive societal change. I am currently the head of services of an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.

For eight years, I managed the services of a local respite home for persons with disabilities. This experience stirred within me the desire to delve deeper into what contributes to or hinders the adjustment process within the family system as it relates to autism. As a result, my master’s thesis in family therapy and systemic practice narrated the stories of families of young adults with autism. It elicited how each member makes sense of and adjusts to the disability over time.

During my therapeutic journey, I have had the privilege of meeting individuals, couples, and parents who presented diverse dynamics or challenges. This diversity has sparked my curiosity about the unique qualities that each person brings to their relationship journey. These rich experiences have profoundly furthered my understanding of resilience and the importance of supportive, nurturing relationships. My role is to create a safe space that supports the system made up of different constellations—children, adolescents, and families—to sustain healthy relationships between them.
