Amy Spiteri

I am a warranted Counselling Psychologist. I graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communications followed by a Higher Diploma in Psychology. Followingwork and voluntary experience in education and mental health services, in 2016 I pursued a Master of Science in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Upon my return to Malta, I furthered my studies completing a Master of Psychology in Counselling Psychology at the University of Malta in 2019.

I have worked with different population groups providing psychological interventions to clients with an array of psychological and emotional difficulties. I have experience working within the psychosocial sector and also form part of the psychosocial team within the Gender Wellbeing Clinic. Presently my role within these areas is providing one-to-one therapeutic support to adolescents and adults who are facing several difficulties such as anxiety, depression, abuse, gender related issues, loss, grief and trauma.
