I commenced my studies with a bachelor’s degree in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs, followed by a Masters in Systemic Family Psychotherapy and an Award in Clinical Supervision.
I work with individuals, couples and families, with a special interest in relationships; that with one’s own self, romantic connections and family relationships. My belief is that the relationships a person is surrounded by are a powerful indicator of positive life outcomes. With this in mind, I aim to build significant therapeutic relationships with the people I work with.
I have over 20 years experience of working with families of disabled individuals, this also includes organizing and leading support groups and workshops in the field. I love sports and performing arts, which I studied and executed together with my studies for over 20 years. I was also a semi-professional performing artist and worked for many years as a fitness instructor. Born in Canada and having spent 9 years living there before relocating to Malta, I use my personal experience to support people relocating to our islands.
Amongst others, some of the main fields of specialization I work with includes: Addiction, Anger, Anxiety, Burnout, children-teens and parenting, Couples, Depression, Disability, Infertility, Domestic Violence, Grief & Loss, Mental Health, Mindfulness, Physical Health, Relationships, Self-Esteem, Self-Growth, Intimacy and Sex, Sports and performing arts, Stress, Trauma, Wellbeing, Work.
