Charlotte Schembri

Charlotte is an experienced systemic family therapist who is passionate about creating safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental spaces for growth and healing. With more than 25 years of training and practice in psychology and counselling, she has developed a rich expertise in supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and strengthen their relationships.

 

Charlotte began her studies in psychology and counselling while living in the UK, where she completed a degree in psychology and a diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. She later earned a Master’s in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice from the University of Malta, as well as a Master’s in Education, with a special focus on supporting students with disabilities. Her professional journey has taken her across different sectors, including extensive work in education and disability support, which continues to inform her therapeutic perspective. In her clinical practice, Charlotte draws on systemic, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approaches, always working collaboratively with her clients.

 

Charlotte’s combination of extensive professional training and diverse life experiences allows her to connect with clients in a meaningful way. She is deeply committed to offering a supportive, respectful, and empathetic space where every person’s story can be heard and valued.
